I Got A Lot To Say About That

Is Time Travel Ethical?

June 16, 2022 Season 1 Episode 8

It's another question from "Deep Talk: A year’s worth of daily questions generated by a machine" by John Bohannon, Director of Science, Primer.ai

"These 365 questions were generated using GPT-J-6B, an autoregressive language model trained on 800 GB of internet text. The prompts used for the generation were randomly shuffled samples of human-written questions."  -https://primer.ai/deep-talk-questions/

Is time travel ethical?

Vanessa and Heather take a ride back in time...or is it forward in time? It starts with our favorite pop culture time travel movies, shows, and books and ends with an answer as to whether time travel, could ever be considered ethical. It is a discussion that can go deep, sideways, up, down, and back. Heather's brain almost explodes! So what do you think?

Our Favorite Thing:

We both recommend the series Timeless (https://www.nbc.com/timeless ).  An unlikely trio travel through time in order to battle unknown criminals and protect history as we know it. It has sci fi, history, romance, action, and it dives into our topic of ethical time travel. It is a show for the whole family. Guaranteed everyone will learn something new.
